The transmission of information through virtual (non personal) methods is a constant in today's world. A majority of the data being passed is considered by those sending or receiving to be confidential and in some cases to be of such importance, that it has lead to frequent attempts to fraudulently obtain the information. This has become a grave concern for government, business, and individuals.

Currently the general accepted method for securing data is the ubiquitous "password" (aka 'PIN', as well as many other synonyms). The password is kept along side the data it is meant to secure, as well as with the individual owner of the data. The password is a static piece of data that is constantly being transmitted, and thus an easy target for theft.

In order to better maintain the confidentiality of information, and prevent virtual theft, the Kinesis Identity Security System(KISS) has been developed.

An individual's mobile device is the basis for the KISS system. A user can downloaded the software onto their device, and then obtain a KISS User (KISS'U) code. This single non confidential KISS'U can be given to any organization that uses KISS to maintain the integrity of their data. At no time is any personal information required, and there is no cost to obtain or use the KISS system.

The owner of the data will have a random KISS Identity Number (KISS'IN) generated on their mobile device, and which is only valid for one minute. Then, depending on the method of accessing the data (computer, keypad, etc), the owner will then transmit the KISS'IN to the organization for validation. After one minute the KISS'IN expires and a new one is created. Neither the owner, nor the organization has any ability to predict the following number.

This makes it ideal in a virtual world where visual identification is not possible. It can be used for either primary or secondary validation. For contact information Click Here, or for how to Download the application to your mobile device Click Here.
